The partners from the EMBRACE project met in Athens, in line with their second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM)! Since the Covid-19 pandemic the partners completed their Kick-off meeting online, so all of the partners were quite excited to meet in person and discuss the progress of the EMBRACE project.
The essence of this meeting was to ensure that all the partners are up to date with their tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines, and are all in agreement with the proceeding activities. At the moment, the consortium is close to finishing the first project result (PR1), which includes the development of the Transnational Report, in combination with the Policy Recommendations. This report will include an analysis of the different practices that aim to equip kindergarten teachers with adequate knowledge for working with children with disabilities, in each partner country.
In addition, the report will include a summative description of the in-depth interviews that were conducted by each member country, analyzing the needs and gaps of kindergarten teachers, for collaborating and improving their work with children with special needs.
Subsequently, once PR1 is finalized, the consortium will proceed with the development of the e-Learning Course (PR2), in which an online platform will host all the educational material that can be used by any individual that is interested in the field of Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC), specifically for children with special educational needs (SEN).
