In this module, you will:

  1. Learn about the cognitive and social development of children with intellectual disabilities including autism, Down syndrome, fragile X syndrome, and Williams syndrome.
  2. Understand the cognitive and social development of children with intellectual disabilities.
  3. Identify the challenges, capabilities, and needs of these groups.
  4. Adopt appropriate knowledge about intellectual disabilities.
  5. Develop awareness and understanding about each of the intellectual disabilities.
